dull?

If there were too many yeses, you definitely need a hair Botox treatment!!!

What is a Hair Botox Treatment, and how does it work?

LVH Botox Keratin Treatment is the ultimate way to revive your hair.

Using all-natural ingredients, it helps you restore and rebuild treated hair
leaving the hair soft, smooth and silky to the touch.

All in one treatment, it restores dry damaged hair, improves texture and shine, hydrates and deeply conditions, treats split ends, tames frizz, and gives UV protection.

The purpose of Hair Botox is to nourish and eliminate the frizz from the hair. The end result of the
Botox treatment is frizz-less and consequently shinier hair. Even though Hair Botox is not a straightening treatment, hair might also look straighter, as our hair tends to poof and get a bit curly when there’s frizz involved. Hair Botox gives your hair a deep conditioning treatment.

If your hair is dehydrated, or you suffer from split ends, frizziness, or simply want healthier hair, Botox for hair is a lifesaver. It’s full of nourishing proteins, antioxidants, vitamins, conditioning oils and other hair-healthy ingredients that fill in the gaps in the hair fibres and restore it to its natural beauty.

In addition to eliminating frizz, Hair Botox adds volume to your hair and rejuvenates hair strands that were previously damaged. Hair can be washed 24 hours after application.

UV Protection

LVH Hair Botox contains luxury UV protection ingredients to prevent aging of the hair. Because of UV protection, botox makes a fantastic treatment before sunny holidays, or for anyone who is exposed to strong UV rays every day.

How Long Does Hair Botox Last?

The effects of a Hair Botox treatment will last between 3 and 4 months. For most people it lasts a solid 3 or 4 months. After that, it’s recommended to get the treatment redone. Remember, to make the treatment last longer, use the full range of LVH aftercare products, especially Sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners, plus the LVH hair mask 1-2 times a week. Also follow LVH’s general recommendations and advice.

Hair Botox After Results

Hair Botox is not a treatment that will change your hair type. For example, curly hair won’t become straight. But the treatment will enhance your natural hair, because it fills in the gaps in the hair strands. Hair Botox will make hair look healthier, softer, shinier, fuller and livelier. It will also look younger and split ends will disappear.

Plus, if frizz is the main issue, afterwards hair will be far easier to deal with and less frizzy, all while staying true to the natural hair type. Hair Botox really does work! There will be noticeable difference in your hair from the very beginning. With reduced frizz and fly-away, styling of the hair will be much easier and faster.

Is Hair Botox Safe

Botox for hair is definitely safe. It doesn’t contain toxins or harmful chemicals. However, like every new product introduced to the body or skin, it should be patch tested (follow the regular skin test protocol). Apply a small amount of hair Botox on skin first to make sure there is no allergic reaction to any of the ingredients. Most people do not experience any adverse side effects from the treatment, so no worries.

Hair Botox vs Keratin Treatment What’s the Difference?

Hair botox treatment is designed to help eliminate frizz, as it smooths and make hair healthier and younger looking. A great option to avoid using too many harsh chemicals in the hair, it’s a  deep conditioning treatment  that helps to restore and reconstruct your hair, using key ingredients such as proteins, amino acids, vitamins, and lipids. The anti-ageing hair treatment acts like a filler, by filling in any gaps in the hair fibres, leaving it silky, shiny, and more youthful-looking.

Please note this is not a straightening treatment and it’s not as strong as Keratin Treatment. Keratin Treatment is an advanced process that provides your hair with a healthy, shiny and silky look. The application is based on Keratin which is the primary protein of skin, hair and nails. Keratin is a natural substance that gives your hair the ability to improve the texture, condition, and elasticity of your hair. Hair will stay straight and frizz free up to 2-3 months depending on original hair condition.

NOTE : this can differ from person to person. For Textured hair it is expected to losen your coils slightly... for example 4c hair can be loosened to 4a-4b.

Summary: The main difference between these two treatments is that keratin treatment is for straightening and fully eliminating frizz, designed for people who like very straight hair with a significant reduction of volume. Hair Botox is for restoring, nourishing and taming frizz, for anyone who’s hair is very damaged, over-processed, thin in structure and in need of deep restoration.

How it is Applied:

  1. Hair is Washed with deep cleansing shampoo
  2. Treatment is applied with the brush, strand by strand, 1-1.5 cm away from the roots and left on the hair for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Hair is softly blow-dried and combed through.
  4. A flat iron at a temperature between 190 and 220 degrees Celsius is applied. The temperature setting depends on the condition of your hair – more damage requires a lower setting, and virgin/brunette/curly hair needs a higher heat.  flat iron goes through each section 4-6 times depending on original hair condition.
  5. After 24 hours wash any residue from the hair with LVH sulphate free shampoo and conditioner.
